Screen Changers

Hydraulic screen changers type BDP and BDO FT are successful thanks to their easy construction, ergonomics and rational engineering.

Both in the manual version BDP and in the quick change version, BDO FT, with the extruder running they are particularly suitable to process sensitive polymers thanks to a homogeneous and effective heating system.
The choice between the two products dependes only on the frequency of changing the filtering nets. It's understood that BDO FT versil will be more profitable in the long run, as the extruder does not need to be stopped to make the change.

The two versions have a wiring system in the lower part which carries the power supply wires and the thermocouples to a junction box located next to the cylinder. This avoids dangerous over-heating of the electrical plant, giving a much better reliability.

The acquired experiences combined with several configurations allow a wide use of these models, if the total uninterrupted flow during the change does not represent a necessary requirement. They are available with filtering masses from ∅ 45 to ∅ 160 mm.
